CNPAC, in partnership with Vivo Energy Morocco, organized a number of resources in order to carry out communication, awareness-raising and road safety activities scheduled for this time of the year.
A vast operation to raise awareness of road safety during the summer time has been launched by Vivo Energy Morocco in partnership with the National Committee for the Prevention of Traffic Accidents (CNPAC). Vivo Energy Morocco is the company in charge of the marketing and distribution of Shell brand fuels and lubricants and Butagaz brand liquefied petroleum gas in Morocco.
AsafSasaoglu, CEO of Vivo Energy Morocco said, "Vivo Energy Morocco is renewing its commitment to road safety through the organization of this sixth summer driver awareness campaign with CNPAC. We are very proud of the long-standing partnership with CNPAC that is reflected in a wide range of initiatives. Our ambition is to strengthen our actions to help save ever more lives."
Compared to the other months of the year, the summer period is characterized by very heavy traffic with a high degree of mobility of the population on the road and motorway axes, coinciding with the return of MREs with more than 500,000 vehicles added to the national car fleet. Advice on risky behaviors to avoid on the road are given by trainers, such as mobile phone use or failure to respect safety distances.
The company has executed a thorough road safety program, for several years now, that is bearing fruit so that Vivo Energy Morocco can continue its commitment as a pioneer and leader in safety. PWKD03082017
