The new fuel service station combines outstanding health, safety equipment and systems, ensuring a good atmosphere for staff, customers and residents of neighboring areas. The opening represents a landmark for ADNOC.
ADNOC Distribution, marks the launch of its 362nd station in the UAE and 44th fuel service station in Al Ain City. The new 24-hour service station has the capacity to serve 12 vehicles simultaneously and includes a popular Oasis convenience store, a fast food restaurant and other facilities.
"We are delighted to offer our customers in Al Ain greater service, choice and convenience with the opening of the Umm Ghafa service station – our 28th new station in 2017,” said Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution. “ADNOC Distribution’s retail fuel business in the UAE is performing exceptionally well, with strong sales growth and stable, regulated margins. Our Oasis convenience stores are hugely popular with customers. The same goes for fast food restaurants and coffee shops such as McDonalds, Starbucks and Costa Coffee, which can be found in many of our service stations.”
The Umm Ghafa opening is another milestone in ADNOC Distribution’s broader drive to increase sales growth and optimize performance. The company has ambitious expansion plans for the future, in keeping with the Group’s 2030 growth strategy, and is actively looking for opportunities to enhance sales across all of its business units.
