UAE: Emarat Celebrates Employees for Dedication and Loyalty

The Emirates General Petroleum Corporation, Emarat, has held a ceremony to celebrate 39 service station employees who have been working for the company for 10 years or more in Dubai and the northern Emirates. The ceremony was attended by Retail Sales Manager Dr. Rahma bin Mohamed Al Shamsi (pictured), Manager of Retail Sales Operations, Abdulla Hassan Al Noman, Abdulraoof Abdulaziz (Manager for Dealer Sales Operations) and Darren Smith, Manager of Retail Marketing Support.

Nigeria: Hearings into Subsidy Regime Exposes Confusion, Process Breakdown

Nigeria: Lawmakers Decry State of Kaduna Refinery

Members of Nigeria’s Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream have sharply criticised the condition of the country’s Kaduna refinery following a visit to the facility. Speaking to the media, Senator Magnus Abe (pictured) said that Kaduna was operating at below 30% of its capacity, with several plants not functioning.

Ghana: Engen Launches Staff Award Scheme

Engen Petroleum has instituted an award scheme for staff, honouring several employees for their hard work and dedication in a weekend ceremony. At a dinner dance in Accra, Engen Ghana Managing Director Henry Akwaboah presented the awards, along with prizes including a table top fridge, microwave oven and television sets.
