Malaysia: 361 Petron Fuel Service Stations Approved By DOSH

361 of 580 Petron service stations undertook the ‘OSH Practices’ compliance audit

The Department of Safety and Health (DOSH), under its regulations, successfully rated 62 percent of 580 Petron service stations as in-conformance to safety and health practices. 361 of 580 Petron service stations underwent the ‘OSH Practices’ compliance audit. 

Pn Faridah Ali, Head of Retail Business of Petron said “We uphold a strong commitment to occupational safety & health in the way we do business. This program aligns with our safety core values and we fully support the government’s initiatives for a safer and healthier work culture.”

The initiatives of DOSH were lauded by Petron as the compliance certification encourages fuel service station operators to continue implementing the highest standard of safety at the workplace. Petron service station operators’ commitment to ensure conformance and compliance to the Fuel (Safety Measures) Act 1984 is reflected as The certification also serves as a benchmark. PWKD01052017
