The listing marked many firsts: the first company from Davao City to list on the PSE, the first oil company to list after the passage of the Oil Deregulation Law in 2008, and the first independent oil company to go public.
The IPO fueled the company’s expansion from Davao to the rest of the Philippines. From its initial 5 fuel service stations in 2005, Phoenix Petroleum has grown its fuel retail network to more than 515 fuel service stations nationwide, and expanded to serving commercial clients in power, manufacturing, aviation, transportation, marine, fishing, construction, and other industries.
