US based PDI, a provider of software solutions to the convenience retail and wholesale petroleum industries has announced the acquisition of three privately owned companies, Lomosoft, DataMax Group Inc., and FireStream WorldWide Inc.
The acquisition of Lomosoft and DataMax reflect PDI’s strategy to grow internationally and provide customers with a single, integrated solution. “PDI is investing in a global footprint to expand its market reach. We are well-positioned to continue to lead the industry as well as better serve multi-country operators, various operating models such as dealer, franchisee, and corporate, and going further up the fuel supply chain,” said Jimmy Frangis, chief executive officer, PDI. “We feel the complementary nature of these businesses brings tremendous benefits to our existing client and employee base. Based in Germany, Lomosoft provides secondary fuel distribution customers with more than 27 years of deep logistics and carrier industry network expertise. DataMax provides convenience store back office software and services for retail fuel stores including major oil companies.
FireStream is a provider of end-to-end software for downstream and midstream jobbers, lubricant suppliers and propane marketers. With a strong North American presence, its focus on wholesale, logistics and supply chain software rounds out and expands PDI’s offerings. PetrolWorld040417
