Ghana: Engen Launches Staff Award Scheme Featured

Engen Petroleum has instituted an award scheme for staff, honouring several employees for their hard work and dedication in a weekend ceremony. At a dinner dance in Accra, Engen Ghana Managing Director Henry Akwaboah presented the awards, along with prizes including a table top fridge, microwave oven and television sets.

Felix Asare-Mensah from the Weija Engen McCarthy Service Station was named as the overall best employee of 2011, followed by Kofi Nkansah and Charles Abrokwah. The award for Best Supervisor was given to Peter Musa, from the same station as Felix Asare-Mensah. Vincent Amuzu and Frank Wiredu came second and third in this category.
Charles Mensah Filson of Engen Pokuase Service Station was awarded Most Promising Merchant, while Eric Bosompem (from Engen Old Tafo Service Station in Obuasi) won Best Merchant in Lubricants. Grace Mensah of Asamankese, Abigail Obey of Pokuase and Ronald Owusu of Obuasi Barrier were judged as the Best Attendants.
