Pertamina has decided to accelerate the supply of CNG fuel (BBG) at its Fuel Stations (SPBU).
This is seen in the operation of the Ecostation Filling Station (SPBG) integrated with the fuel station located at Jalan Cilandak KKO, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta and the one located in Depok.
Pertamina Adiatma Sardjito, Corporate Communication VP of Pertamina explained that this is in line with the Government's plan to target 150 fuel stations that must sell CNG until 2019. Although not the first, SPBG Ecostation at Cilandak and Margonda are Pertamina's response to the Regulation of Mineral Resources Decree, on acceleration of CNG Fuel Utilization for Transportation. "The development of SPBG integrated with fuel stations is a manifestation of Pertamina's commitment to implement the decree, which includes the obligation to provide 1 (one) CNG dispenser at every fuel service station," said Adiatma.
Pertamina Ecostation SPBG is a concept integrated with SPBU where there is one unit of Envogas, Pertamina’s compressed natural gas (CNG). With the operation of SPBG at Cilandak and Margonda, Pertamina currently has five SPBG Ecostation. Pertamina expects that consumers of CNG-fueled vehicles will find it easier to get Pertamina Envogas.
"With the operation of SPBG Ecostation at Cilandak and Margonda each having a capacity of 0.3 Million Standard Metric Cubic Feet per Day (MMSCFD) or equivalent to 10,000 Liter Premium (LSP), it is expected to meet and serve the needs of CNG both for taxis, and private vehicles" adds Adiatma.
