India: Indian Oil & Jet Privilege Fuel Partner Partnership

India: Indian Oil & Jet Privilege Fuel Partner Partnership

Indian Oil Corporation Limited, India’s largest commercial enterprise has created a partnership with Jet Privilege Private Limited (JPPL), making it the first time that a Frequent Flyer Program (FFP) in the country has on-boarded a fuel partner, with the intention to enable members to earn as well as redeem JPMiles every time the members refuel at select IndianOil fuel service stations.

Mr. Sanjeev K Jain, Executive Director (Retail Sales) said, “IndianOil has been always striving to add to the fueling experience of customers coming to its Retail Outlet and through our association with JET PRIVILEGE we would be giving one more reason for the customer to fuel with us and also earn and burn JPMiles.”

“The introduction of IndianOil as a JetPrivilege program partner reflects our constant endeavor towards building relevance and value in the everyday lives of our members,” said Mr. Manish Dureja, Managing Director, Jet Privilege Private Limited.“With 150+ partners across categories covering avenues like stay, shop, dine and now even fuel, our reach and diversity will empower members to accelerate their ability to earn & redeem JPMiles. Forging partnerships to delight our members is at the heart of our business and our partnership with an iconic Indian brand like IndianOil gives our members even greater choice and flexibility in how they earn and use their JPMiles.”

By simply mentioning their JetPrivilege membership number when paying for their fuel at IndianOil fuel service stations, JetPrivilege members will be a step closer towards earning a free flight. JetPrivilege members can also, instead, redeem their existing JPMiles to purchase fuel at the same outlets. On every Rs. 150 spent on regular fuel, Members will earn 1 JP Mile and 3 JP Miles on every Rs. 150 spent on XtraPremium at IndianOil fuel service stations. In case of redemption, the members will get Re. 1 worth of fuel for every 4 JPMiles. Initially, the ability for JetPrivilege members to earn and redeem JPMiles will be available at 100 IndianOil outlets in Mumbai & Delhi, with plans for expansion in 2018 to 500+ fuel service stations across 8 cities.
