Rompetrol Moldova has expanded its fuel retail network in the first semester by opening 10 new site locations.
Rompetrol Moldova is a subsidiary of KMG International. It is on an expanding strategy in 2016 by launching fuel retail sites in new locations. They have already opened 10 sites and are planning to open 5 more sites by the end of this year. The company said that when all the news sites start operating, it would generate 110 new jobs.
City of Chisinau has become the favorite spot this time as it has got 7 out of the 10 sites and the remaining three sites are located in the counties of Donduseni, Orhei and Comrat. Three fuel service stations are completely new and the remaining ones are upgraded refurbishments to the standards of KMG International. The refurbishments include the basic infrastructure such as underground storage tanks and fuel dispensers. The company would sell only high quality fuel range produced at the Petromidia Refinery.
The company is active in Romanian market since 2002 and has evolved into one of the first three leadin fuel retail brands in the market and is included in the top list of importers as well. Its operations are mainly in and around the Chisinau with more than half of its operations take place here. PWKD15072016
