The new partnership has contributed not only to increasing sale of fuels, but non-fuel sales as well
PKN ORLEN and Traficar has decided to expand their cooperation, after there has been a good acceptance by the market of car-sharing projects.
In order to make use of the service, Traficar will need to be installed by the customer and once shopping is done with, one of the vehicles at the designated locations can be booked when leaving the shop. The vehicle will always be fueled by PKN Orlen.
Krzysztof Lagowski, PKN ORLEN Retail Sales Executive said, “The popularity of renting cars for minutes confirms that when we cooperated with Traficar we made a right decision. Moreover, like other services related to the economics of sharing, yes carsharing is looking for new niches and development pathways. Allowing yourself to transport larger goods can be an important step in changing the face of this transport segment. Thanks to the cooperation with PKN ORLEN's Traficar, not only the sale of fuels is growing, but non-fuel sales for car users are also growing, as part of the Stop Cafe and O! Shop offer.”
“Cars were chosen specifically for the products of our partner - IKEA Krakow. It will be possible to transport even the largest furniture available in the shop, which was a problem for a passenger car. After the implementation period, we want the service to be available to all the supplying networks of building or gardening products that will be interested in making the space available for Traficar vans. Thanks to the launch of a new service in cooperation with IKEA Krakow, we are launching a new chapter in the history of carsharing in Poland,” said Piotr Gronski, President of Traficar. PWKD14092017
