Subsidiary of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic, Socar Energy Ukraine (SOCAR), has connected its 45 fuel service stations to the Fiber Optic Network Ukrtelecom to provide stable and high-quality communications at its facilities.
In several regions of the country, Ukrtelecom has built over 100 km of fiber-optic channels for Socar, in a short time. With the option of further increase, the speed of Internet connections on the connected Ukrtelekom Socar facilities is from 30 to 100 Mbps
Victor Zavgorodniuk, Socar IT Director said, "Socar was the first fuel retail network, which offered its guests free access to the network a few years ago. And now, with the help of our Ukrtelecom partners, we continue to maintain primacy and provide high standards of service. In addition, these opportunities are a prerequisite for the development of a number of technological services at the fuel service station in the near future."
