Currently in its 19th year, the awards acknowledge innovative retailers who make a remarkable contribution to the sector
At the Neighborhood Retailer Awards 2017, Maxol has been named Fuel Retailer of the Year for its largest ever development in Northern Ireland – the A26 Tannaghmore Services in Antrim.
Brian Donaldson, Chief Executive Officer, Maxol said: "Getting this award from our industry peers is fantastic recognition. The opening of the A26 Tannaghmore Services marked a milestone for the company here in Northern Ireland. We have brought something transformational to the market that is at the cutting edge of forecourt services.
Donaldson also added that the site is operated under license by their partners, Aramark who have played a significant part in winning the award, by offering the highest of standards in retailing and customer experience. At Tannaghmore, they provide their customers with even greater choice to meet their ever-demanding lifestyles in a modern and welcoming environment. Whether they are looking for the convenience of a freshly prepared meal or the option to choose from an excellent range of fresh ingredients under Spar, their symbol partners, they cater for every need at all times of the day.
Following a £3.75 million investment, the A26 Tannaghmore Services opened earlier this year, offering the latest in fuel station design and has been constructed and fitted out using revolutionary technology to harness solar energy and harvest rain water to ensure it has a low carbon footprint.
