Naftogas and The Rompetrol Group will cooperate in the development of a new network of fuel service stations after signing a memorandum of understanding in Kiev, the news outlet associated with Rompetrol's owner KazMunai gas is reporting.
Cypriot fuel service station owners have been protesting at the construction site of a new station in Limassol, angered because they feel the country has enough stations already and cannot cope with anymore. 270 service stations are operating in Cyprus, 150 of them unlicensed.

Independent commodity trader Gunvor Group has unveiled a new $500m credit facility that will keep its newly acquired refinery operational. The Cyprus-based firm, which bought the facility in Antwerp from the insolvent Petroplus earlier this year, will use the money to buy crude oil for processing.
Royal Dutch Shell is to reintroduce attendants to its fuel service stations across the UK in a bid to compete with retailers selling fuel at cheaper prices. Shell attendants will take to the forecourt for the first time in 20 years as the company moves to distance itself from the 24-hour self service label.
Lukoil has announced that it intends to sell some of the assets connected to its Odessa refinery, which it shut down in 2010 due to issues surrounding work inefficiency. The company said it intends to sell several facilities located in the Odessa region including a storage facility, a warehouse, a dispatch room and two administrative buildings.
