La Defense, Paris - After two full days of presentations from a wide variety of speakers, the IFSF Conference closed on a positive note.
The IFSF Conference is not about large numbers of delegates but quality of delegates and subject matter. It was made up of key suppliers and fuel retailers with an obvious bias towards technology standards.
After many high quality presentations and always a lively Q&A session, the final day witnessed very interesting and open working groups on the future priorities for IFSF. It was an opportunity for members and non-members to have input on the issue of standards and the IFSF.
With regards to subject matter of presentations over the two days, this included introduction to block chain, cyber security and the fuel service station, payment system compliance, micorservices, potential impacts of mobility, leverage technology to enhance the service station, and Regulatory Technical Standard on customer authentication.
PetrolWorld will cover the subject matter of the Conference in the coming issues of the PetrolWorld Magazine. There will also be an update for those interested in South East Asia at an informal gathering of market players.
