Bonett has built a new CNG station for Decin Transport Company, with output of 700 m3 of compressed natural gas per hour and has 5000 m3 of storage capacity, making it one of the largest and most efficient CNG fuel service stations in the country.
In the Czech Republic, buses are largely involved in the annual increase in CNG consumption for transport, which grew by almost 14% in the transport sector by 67% to 67.6 million m3 in 2017. At the end of 2016, CNG buses ran in fifty cities, while one year later, it went to the sixties.
Václav Holovčák, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bonett Gas Investment, said, "Almost half of all CNG buses are powered by technologies supplied by the Bonett Group, more than 15% of buses are being filled directly from our stations.” It was the third largest CNG vendor in the Czech Republic with 9 million cubic meters (20% year-on-year increase) in 2017, with over 13% of the total CNG market.
Operated by Transport Companies in Brno and Ostrava, Bonett has also built the two largest fuel stations in Central Europe, with an output of over 4,000 cubic meters per hour and each of them has over 100 buses per day. The fuel station at the Arriva bus station in Kladno, which operates one of the largest fleets of CNG buses in the Czech Republic, ranks among the largest stations with a capacity of almost 900 m3 / h, after modernization.
