Sweden: Wayne Moves CNG Dispenser Operations to Malmo

Fuel dispenser and forecourt technology specialist Wayne has moved its compressed natural gas production operations to Malmo, Sweden from Talmona in Italy. The move will offer access to a greater amount of resources and increase efficiency, the company announced through a statement. 
Wayne said it will look to focus on its strongest area of business – dispensers – from its new Malmo business. The company said that, from its Malmo hub, it will be able to provide its customers with safe, reliable and state-of-the-art equipment. 


India: Mangalore Refinery Rules Out Retail Entry

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Litd (MRPL) will not enter the retail business for petrol and diesel, according to Managing Director P. P. Upadhya (pictured), because of uncertainty over under-recoveries from regulated prices.  “We will not pursue further in retail marketing unless a clear picture is available on under recoveries from the Indian Government side,” said  Upadhya, who was addressing the Institution of Engineers and Institution of Valuers in Mangalore.
