USA: Mutual Oil to Sell 22 New England Service Stations

Mutual Oil Co is looking to sell 22 of its New England fuel service stations, Matrix Capital Markets Group, the investment fund handling the sale has announced. The stations, which span Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut and Rhode Island, are being sold without any branding, having previously operated under the BP and Lukoil banners.

Retail technology provider RedPrairie has released its latest retail solution suite, the RedPrairie Commerce Suite 2012.1, which it promises will create a seamless and dynamic shopping experience for retailers throughout its global network. The new suite will have a 360-degree view of orders, customer behaviour and merchandise and is fully compatible with all of the company’s software, it says. 


USA: Conoco, Phillips 66 and 76 Offering Free Fuel for Life As Comp Prize

Fuel service station operators Conoco, Phillips 66 and 76 are offering free fuel for life as a prize to one of its customers who can prove their loyalty. The prize is among one of 6,000 the company plans to give out in an effort to encourage travellers to travel on their holidays by car this summer.
